Ma Betty’s Sausage Balls

If you are looking for a quick, filling appetizer, you will love this recipe. These little crowd pleasers are difficult to turn down.

From start to finish, this recipe will take you about 30-35 minutes.

Room temperature ingredients make mixing easier.

1 – 1 lb. package Jimmy Dean HOT Sausage
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese
1 cup Bisquick

Sidenote: About an hour before you begin preparation of the sausage balls, remove your cheese and sausage from the refrigerator. When all ingredients are room temperature, they combine much more easily.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place all ingredients in a bowl.
Using your hands, mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Roll into quarter-sized balls.
Place balls on cookie sheet.
Bake 15-17 minutes.

Sausage balls are great for breakfast, lunch, or a snack.

Cool on paper towels.
Serve warm.

*Yield 40-50 sausage balls.

These can be rewarmed in the microwave.
