Tang Pie

Sweet, summer goodness!

It isn’t summer until we make Aunt Gina’s Tang Pie! Well, summer is almost here because I whipped up two Tang Pies today! This dessert is a staple during the summer. Anytime we have friends or family over for a summertime gathering, you can be sure that Tang Pie is in the fridge.
My neighbor Ali, and my friend Jennifer have both developed a love for this tasty treat. Jennifer has even modified this recipe and used lemonade crystals to make a lemon-flavored version of the same pie. Yum!

If you like a recipe you can whip together in a flash with few ingredients, you will love a Tang Pie.

From start to finish, this recipe will take you about 10 minutes.

Tang Pie is easy to make and is perfect for a hot day.

1 – 16 oz. Cool Whip (I used Lite Cool Whip)
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 – 8 oz. pkg. Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese (room temperature)
1/2 cup powdered Tang
2 graham cracker crusts
Using a hand mixer, cream together cream cheese sweetened condensed milk.
Add Cool Whip until well blended.
Mix in Tang until well blended.
Pour into two crusts.
Chill for at least 2 hours.
Serve cold.
