Garlic Linguine with Broccoli

Garlic Linguine with Broccoli has great flavor and brings out the best in chicken or pork.

This pasta dish goes well as a side dish with chicken or pork and is great for a week night when time is an issue. Although it is easy and quick to make, it tastes like a restaurant side. I love pasta, and whole grain pasta is filling and delicious.

From start to finish, this recipe will take you about 20 minutes.

This recipe serves 3-4 people.

Prep broccoli and garlic while the linguine boils.

Ingredients
1/3 package Barilla whole grain linguine
1 tsp Kosher salt
1 tbsp olive oil

1 heaping tbsp minced garlic
1 – tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp butter or margarine
1 – 1 1/2 cup frozen broccoli florets
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Kosher sat and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Add cheese and stir well immediately before serving.

Directions
Add salt and oil to water to a large pot and bring to a boil. Cook linguine according to package (7 minutes).
Meanwhile, in a skillet add garlic, olive oil, butter, broccoli, salt and pepper and melt butter over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Drain linguine and add to mixture.
Stir until linguine is coated and broccoli is warm through.
Grate Parmesan over skillet, stir and serve hot.
