Jen’s Easy 7-Layer Dip

Although I didn’t photograph Jen’s dip, this looks a lot like it. You can also check out the recipe where I found this image by clicking on the photo.

Who doesn’t love a 7-layer dip?  I mean, really?  Have you met anyone who doesn’t love it?  I can tell you that I am no exception to the 7-layer dip rule.  It is the dip with many of my favorite things – cheese, sour cream, guacamole, beans, and tortillas!  Yay!

Last weekend, Jen brought this easy 7-layer dip to the house to pair with our Zesty Fiesta Grilled Chicken Sandwiches (recipe coming soon).  We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying dip while waiting for our chicken to grill.  Good times, good friends, and good food…

What could be better?

From start to finish, this recipe should take approximately 10 minutes.

Ingredients

3/4 can refried vegetarian beans + 1/2 package taco seasoning mix blended well
1 cup sour cream
2 packages Wholly Guacamole
salsa
shredded lettuce
shredded Mexican or Jack cheese
chopped tomatoes
black olives
jalapenos
green onions
tortilla chips

Directions

In a glass dish, layer beans/seasoning blend, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, olives, jalapenos, and onions.
Place dip in refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
Serve with tortilla chips of your choice.
