Fonda’s Fantasy Fudge

Let me just tell you a secret — My mother is the queen of Christmas candy.  It’s true.  She can flat out make some Christmas candy, and another one of her famous recipes is her fantasy fudge.  This is a variation of the recipe you will find on the Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme container.  This fudge doesn’t need a clever anecdote.  It is simply amazing!

From start to finish, this recipe will take you approximately 20 minutes.
Allow fudge to cool for at least 2 hours.

Some of my best Christmas memories are cooking with my mom.


6 cups granulated sugar
3 sticks butter/margarine
10 oz. evaporated milk
2 pkgs. semi-sweet morsels
2 (7 oz.) jars Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Black walnuts chopped (optional)

Line a 9×13 pan with foil.
Bring sugar, butter, and milk to a rolling boil while stirring constantly.
Boil 4 minutes while continuously stirring.
Remove from heat.
Add chocolate and marshmallow creme.
Stir until melted and well blended.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Pour into pan.
Allow to cool at room temperature.
When cool, store in fridge.
