Pimento Cheese

Even those who don't think they like pimento cheese will find this spread irresistible!

Everyone knows that some store-bought pimento cheese products are better than others, but once you try this very simple and delicious recipe for pimento cheese, you will never buy store-bought again.  (Even my friends who do not usually eat pimento cheese love this spread on crackers or lightly toasted rosemary bread.)

From start to finish, this recipe will take you less than 5 minutes.

1 – 8 oz. pkg. Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
1 – 4 oz jar of pimentos (drained)
1/8 – 1/4 cup Dukes mayonnaise
1/2 – 1 tsp. Texas Pete
Dash garlic powder
Salt and Pepper to taste

Allow cream cheese and cheddar to come to room temperature before preparing this recipe.

Combine all ingredients, except for pimentos, until well blended.
Then, fold in pimentos.
Enjoy with crackers, breads, or pita of your choice.
